I received a letter and a receipt today from MSDS. I will receive my headers sometime between now and Mon the 11th. I am surprise that with all of the interest in this group buy that in the end only nine people participated. I am pleased that he still gave us the stated price for a minimum order of 10. I can't wait to get them Jet Hot coated and installed.

i hear ya.....there sounded like there were a lot of people interested....

anyway - where are you getting the jet-coating done. so far i haven't found a place that is "reasonable" in pricing....

let me know if you know any good places that you may suggest.

later!

Not a problem. You have our blessing. However, here is the before and after install of the headers on my SE. The previous data was MSDS headers dyno plots only

The following graph (same as in a previous post) was the difference between the MSDS y-pipe and a y-pipe that removed the 180 bend in the rear.

The numbers may show slightly different compared to the previous graphs, as each of the dynojet viewers rounds off or corrects the values a little bit differently.

All coating seems to be fairly expensive. I am going to
send mine to Jet-Hot. $179 for the headers, $18 pet foot
for the y pipe and approx $25 for shipping. Total cost
approx $260. I am going to do this for heat control and
longevity. This is expensive but my car only has 42,000 miles and I want to keep it for at l00,000 miles. So I am rationalizing the expense of the jet coating as an
investment. This is the best arguement I can think of to
convince myself to do the coating.

sounds EXACTLy like the discussion I had with some fellow NE-CEG'ers....i'm just trying to justify spending that money.....i think I will get them done....I was looking at Jet-Hot as well.

Oh well....its only money.... lol!!
