OP dr Majik New CEG\'er D Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 16	Hello again, as I learned during my first visit to CEG the squealing, power drop episodes I experienced driving in a heavy rain were the result of a soaked drive belt. I can purchase a retro kit from fomoco at $30-40.00, however if anyone has a sketch &/or diagram I might try to fabricate it myself. tanks mike

If so, you can pick one up at a Ford $tealer. 96 Contour SE Duratec V6 24-valve 2.5L ATX 108,000 mi. Replaced: crankshaft w/ DMD, EGR valve (clogged), EVR, DPFE, PCV valve, evap emissions hose & tube (cracked), window regulator (broken), LH & RH PCV tubes, UIM gasket (leak), ignition coil
