Piece of 2 X 4 + large sledge hammer = rotors off!!!

Hammer. Torch. Sweat. Been there, done that (and it sucked).

Make sure to put some anti-sieze on the back of the new rotors to prevent this next time.

I whaled on the rotor with my mini sledge for about 5 minutes. Pieces were flying off and enough rust fell out to make a new rotor. Put the new ones on (with plenty of anti seize) , bleed a bottle of dot 3 (1/2 bottle eac side of front calipers) through the system and now braking is fantastic.

I was medieval on both rotors with the sledge and the wheel bearing seem unaffected. Whew!
