I have noticed over the last several years on my 89 Probe, lawn mower engines, 93 E-150 4.9l I-6
and my 98 Mystique Duratec, that adding Texaco's synthetic fuel system ie. The Probe after a tank-full
removed the EGR valve and the carbon was turned into light gray dust. Last month added 8 oz's to tank full at the
start a 500 mile trip. One the way back got P 0420 (assuming small carbon particle had held open the
EGR) code was set. All looked clean (didn't pull the TB ) on the EGR valve light gray as the Probes.
I've notice with the lawn tractors and mowers the smell of gunpowder combustion at times????
I've even added this stuff to an old carboned up Lawnboy. Not sure what that may have done to the
lubrication protection, but it sure runs good 100% better.
Notice the first paragraph mandatory level of fuel additives "same regulated specifications" (no where near enough evidently)?
I ran into URL by starting out on the www.Havoline.com on the can. Everybody's buying everyone!

Just a few observation
