What did you do to allow car to run on that high shot of NOS...or can the 'tour handle it stock? What year do u have?

I have a 97 'Tour Sport.
I don't really have alot in the way of performance mods;
I put an oil cooler on (keeps the oil around 180 degrees)
I got NGK TR6 plugs and gapped them at .40
I went with a 180 degree thermostat and water wetter
Ford Motor Sport 9MM plug wires
CTA intake
2.25" cat back exhaust w/ Dynomax muffler
And a custom Superechip program

I believe the custom program has helped alot.
I asked Zex what was required of a car to run a 75HP shot safely (like air/fuel ratio, timing retard, plug gap, fuel octane, etc.) and and then relayed that info on to Superchips along with a dyno plot of my car.

I checked the plugs are they are still shiny after 3 weeks and three Saturdays at the track.

I can run up to a 102HP shot with my custom program (so I have been told) but I am unsure if the engine internals will handle it.
I will probaly move up to a 85 or 90 HP shot.

Along with the larger HP shot, StreetFlight intake, ERam, and optomozed TB, I hope to be in the 13.8's or 13.9's.
Then I'll have to start thinking about a Quaife and new clutch.

I've been told that a 75 shot couldn't be run safely without modding internals. I've also been told not to exceed nos HP shot by half of engine's HP at crank. Did you take up streetflight on that offer? i hate u if u did .. let me know how it goes if u did... how many miles are on your engine.... i doubt my engine could handle more than 50hp shot. isn't your chip a flip switch chip? how does your car run when not getting the gas?

Hell yeah I took StreetFlight up on the offer.
Don't want to say too much but it was too good to pass up.
Only 55,000 miles on the engine.
If I wanted to be 110% safe I should get a piggy-back fuel pump and larger injectors, cuz I am pushing mine to the limit.
My chip is a flip-chip.
One program for n2o, another for street.
The street program is also custom.
As they explained it to me;
they took the stock performance program for my ECU code, took into account I would be running on colder & copper plugs, that I would be running premium gas, and tuned from the dyno plot I set in.
$625 for chip and programs, but well worth it in my opinion.
Rev limiter removed (I found out as I soared to 7200 rpm in 3rd the first time my n2o sprayed ).
But my speed limiter is still on.

Please please do not get the eRam and put the money towards the Quaife. Thanks.

I'm not launching at high enough rpm's or have enough HP to really need a Quaife right now.
But it is definately on the list once I start creeping on the 13 second barrier.
