Well whats new with ME!
Just got the car out of the shop, in my previous post before the boards went down I described how I rustled two mexican guys out of my car at 3:30am. Anyway they took a screwdriver to my paint, passenger side door lock, and broke my door handle off. Anyway, all is well after my $50 deductible. I caught the guys before they lifted any stereo equip. or had ripped into any ignition wires if they were trying to steal it. I thik the cops caught up with em but am unsure. Have to call Santa Clara PD and find out.
My rental car ended up being a 2002 Mustang 'vert which was nice as it was my vacation week, headed up to Reno to Hot August Nights. Fun, but the town was overrun with straight thugs. all the classic car guys hung out in the safety of the casinos and hotel rooms. The thugs were out all day and all night with there video cameras and gang colors. It was scary at times. Saw way way too many SUV's and trucks on bags and saw everything on 20's and 22's. From a 1974 POS van to Impala SS's. Everything was on chrome 20's. Intrepids, LHS's, Conversion vans, SUV's, pick ups.
It was all good and plan on going back next year. Best classic I saw was a 50's pickup with a 1050HP engine. 518 Cubic inch V8 with a blower and two huge Carb's on top. Very trick.
Went to Virginia City for some off time of the drinking and gaming, very fun old town. Supposedly oldest mining town in US! Went ot the red light musuem and saw old condoms, dentistry equip, and assorted other weird stuff. Very cool. Also toured the old silver mine they had. Learned a lot about mining.
I start work again tomorrow, sucks to be me!
Oh yeah, I think this board sux compared to our previous version.

sounds like you had a good time Chris! should have stopped by!  my new place is just off HWY 50 (off Cabridge exit) in Cameron Park  so - we all need a meet, and now that we have a "California" forum (no north/south thang) - how about somewhere in the middle? also, anyone going to the state fair? maybe we could synch up one of these days and make a mini-meet out of it? laterz... going to bed

I've been to Virginia City a few times and it is a great place to visit! I like to go during the Cinco de Mayo Chili cook-off. It would be a very nice place to have a meet.

Well, finally got the indiglos for the mali. My next mod will be a license  I went to the fair on Saturday, the only thing I actually remember is the rainforest exhibit, they had some interesting animals in there. I am down to meet anywhere, as long as I get directions before hand.

Christopher, sorry about me and my G's at Hot August nights, you know we gots to hold down for the mean streets of San Joser. In actuality I was pretty pissed off cause my mom and dad went to hot august nights, but I couldn't go cause of work  On the subject of my car I think something has gone terribly wrong with the rear suspension. Now all it takes is me driving and one person in the passenger seat, along with a small dip in the road to make the tires rub. It has gotten a lot worse that when I first got the rims. I also notice that it's alot worse when it's hot  The CE light is also constantly on, what store scans the code for free? School starts soon, I'm not exactly excited, plus I gotta figure out my major  Along with other shiz thats going on right now. Christopher, we need to get together and hit up some backroads late at night, after I get my video camera mount! James

Oh yea, I don't really like the way this site has gone. you'll probably only find me in this forum. No off-topic = teh ghey . I've spent some time over at off-topic.net or whatever, some funny stuff over there, along with some nastiness.

Jizames, Dem straight thugs did not hamper me, I was too busy getting slapped in the back of my head from my girl as I was pointing out all the fat booty bizatches in da tight mini skirts and short shorts! Whoop whoop   Lemme tell ya James the rubbing is due to your Struts being worn da fugg out. I noticed I had increased rub as my car got older. Of course I am rolling on lowly 16's now soI don't have no rub. I was rubbing the inside of my wheel liner. If you are rubbing the lip I can take car of that.
