Hey Guys,

Well i'm finally getting my reburned diablo back this week and with that i'm installing the SAFC. Here's the thing, I have the install instructions from How To section however I'm having trouble understanding what side the wiring goes on. Engine side (do I have to drill in my firewall) or is there a wire harness i'm not seeing under the passenger side firewall.

MAF side vs. PCM side. Basically means the wire has to be closer to one unit vs. the other? I've read enough (from the old CEG) to wire the thing correctly but just was making sure I was understanding the instructions correctly.

Anybody in NorCAL..help me out if you have a spare day... i'll come by. I'll be in SoCAL Wed-Saturday.

Yes you will need to drill through the firewall. Take the plastic cover off of the harness it is much easier to tell which wire is which. MAF side and ECU are just like they sound. Ignore the pink wire IIRC that is manifold pressure sensor tap which you don't have.

The A'PEXi has 2 grounds that splice onto one wire. One is brown and one is black. IIRC the brown one has to be closer to the ecu than the black one. The maf wire gets cut and the signal is intercepted by the A'PEXi and then sent to the ecu. This is how it corrects fuel by changing voltage going to the ecu. Pics? uh no not on my drive but I'm sure someone does.
