I'm curious what TB's you people with the 3l's have been using? I bought a 65mm mustang TB bus everything on it is backwards and doesn't seem like its going to work correctly. It would be great if you have some pictures of the one youa re using.. TIA

63mm (bored out stock SVT with new plate) from SHO Shop. It's actually the only part I ever bought from them that I would recommend to anyone. It's plenty big and a direct bolt on (unless you have TC).

I'm not sure if the "how to" is posted up anywhere or not yet, or if the archives are searchable yet, but the main point is that you have to rotate the throttle linkage 180 degrees to make the Mustang TB work on the Contour SVT cables. Depending on which year TB you have, you will also have to remove part of the linkage to clear the UIM and then bend another part of the linkage to make a throttle stop (or drill and tap in your own bolt as a throttle stop). On an SVT UIM, you will also have to extend the TB past the EGR ports or use a custom adapter gasket or plate or it will leak EGR gasses past the top of the TB. Have fun!
