Carpet question

The front passenger side carpeting has pulled away from the molding on the door. No amount of restuffing works. Someone suggested going to a carpet supply store and getting carpeting glue. Has anyone ever had any trouble with this before? What did you do to solve the problem? Is the carpet glue a good idea?

Oh yes, the dreaded gap with the passenger side carpet. My Mystique has this too. The dealership after several times of complaints took the carpet and pulled it as far to that side as they could then installed clips or carpet rivets where you can not see them to hold it in place. Seems to work... but if you step into the car in just the right spot, it pulls out slightly. Problem is they cut the carpet too short...

Yes, this is a pain in the ass!!!

I am still having small issues with the same thing... I am going to Home Depot and picking up some 3M Carpet glue tonight. I'll let you know how it works if y'ant me to.
