Those are some awesome times. I was disappointed to see a 2003 Cobra run a 13.7 at the track Tuesday. There was a Z06 running consistent 12.8-12.9s

if a 03 cobra was running 13's,then it was a driver problem..an 03 cobra is a solid mid to low 12 sec. car..once that guy learns how to drive his car,he will be hanging with those zo6's..most of the guys on svtperformance w/ 03's report 12 sec. 1/4 mile times..mm and fast fords was also running solid 12 sec. times all day long in a 03....any car can be slow at the track if the driver can't drive it right...not that 13.7's are slow, they are just slow for an 03 cobra

A welded diff?? WTF is that? You mean a spool????

As for the 03 Snakes, probably the car wasn't broken in yet, and they DO turn mid 12s bone stock at 110+

When he says they welded the diff they probably welded the spider gears together in the open diffrential. Back woods limited slip but also very dangerous. Usally there axles end up passing infront of them just before the car takes the wall.
