Heyas, Welcome back I was curious as to the best way to get all the scuff marks off the front bumper of my car. I mean, I *try not to hit the orange construction cones, but, well, these things happen. I have one on the passenger door, too. I don't remember how I put that one there Mark

If you just press a little more firmly while washing they usually come right off. Just put a little elbow grease behind it.

It also helps to make sure your car is waxed ( or has wax remaining on the paint ) before going cone-hunting.

I had a cone scuff mark on my rear wheel!?!?
Mostly washed right off. Anything else should buff out pretty easily at the next polishing session.
Function before fashion.

Step One: execute proper apexing technique! I have used an auto sponge with the scrubber around the outside to remove pylon marks from body panels, they're available at Wal-Mart. Haven't yet figured a way to get off the marks on the wheels when I've really creamed a little orange fella though.

You didn't have any scuffs to buff out after this weekend. Was a fun course you should have come. The rain held off and their was a low turn out. Got 4 runs in. I saw you heading west on 28th Sat. afternoon when I was heading home from Kzoo. New Tirerack sticker?

Sorry I missed that event. I had preregistered and everything. I went out drinking on Friday night, and did not get home until 4am. I slept through the whole thing. The TireRack sticker was a mandatory thing at the National Tour event in Peru, IN a few months back. I just hadn't gotten around to taking it off until yesterday. I noticed you are signed up for Grattan, so I will see ya there. That was definitely the best event I have ever run. Can't miss that one.
