and here is how I did: 16.996 @ 80.85 17.073@80.2617.353@79.18 (car was getting WAY TOOO HOT) time to install a new thermostat... and after a break... 16.820@82.3317.110@82.47after my last run the temp was sitting on the L on normal so I decided to stop.

16.820@82.33. Nice run, sounds like it is time to update the sig. Congrats on busting 81 too! I wish every 2.0L Tour owner was on here, I read on FocalJet somewhere about some Tour had a race header, etc., etc...I just want to here about a Zetec breaking 16!

Just did that....
I think bnoons TB helped me get my MPH up...
Loco is on here.... he is the one with the race header... he got a 17.3@?? the same day...

Yes a larger/more optimized TB would definitely improve your top end. I know Loco has a race header, but it was a totally different person. I was with those ladies also and ran a 17.5 with a Bone Stock Ford Focus. I was a fun day. That was my eight run of the day too.

I ran 17.3 at 80mph! I improved 3 tenths of a second with the optimized TB. I think that is an improvement. Not to mention the temp outside was much better this time around. For those who didn't know I'm LoCoZetec on Focaljet.

Yeah, it's definatelly tough man... I mean, it's like being behind the 8 Ball. You know that no matter how much you mod your car, the ATX is gonna suck that power right up. Unless you have a huge motor in there, the ATX is the single biggest killer of power... But you know what? Hector's ride is pimp!
