Hi, I was wondering if there is a set date, or if it is already possible to buy the duratec turbo kit. I wanted to try and get it in before summers over

also instead of paying for labor do you think i could do it myself? i'm not experienced w/ car engines, but i'd love to learn and i'm great with hands on stuff. maybe if i had a guide to follow..

thanks

No set release date IIRC. However there will only be 20 kits in the first batch so If you want one you should probably email Chris Hightower or Street Flight.

Also if you are not very experienced in mechanics (no real prior knowledge/experience); installing a turbo kit definitely should not be your first experience maker IMO...

I believe it was said that there would be a full how-to install guide sent along with the turbo kit.

Those #'s were at 10psi. Chris has talked about turning back to 8 psi to be safe. Here is my dyno at 8psi on a non SVT duratec in my cougar.
