All:
I've posted this question on some other boards, but I'd like to hear from the power of the CEG.

Where is the best place to install an Autometer electrical water temp sender. It was suggested to get a y connection where the stock sender is. Is that a good idea? It was also suggested to install the sender in the frost plugs.

Any tips/hints?

TIA!

I like it! Frankentrans needs a buddy, so welcome to frankengauges!

Seriously though, I think I'm going to try out the y split at the OE point.

A Y split at the stock sender should work fine, plus it's in the water cross over tube which can be easily replaced if you "F" it up beyond repair.
