Can I safely put a high-flow cat in the stock resonator location? Will moving it that far back affect how well that it works?

Here is my master plan... I want to put on a performance header, replace my cat with a high-flow cat, and put in a 2.5'' Brullen exhaust from Performance Fords.

Will a 2.5'' exhaust handle 300hp? What header is used on the Demon Dyanmics Turbo? (I really don't want to double up on parts.) What are my chances of finding a muffler shop in Milwaukee that works with stainless?

Thanks! laugh

Can't move the cat from the stock location...against federal regulation to modify that. Well, I should say...you're not supposed to move the cat but its entirely possible to put it in the stock res position. Just hope you have a 'friend' that will do it for you...and doesn't mind losing his job or causing the shop to get shut down. laugh

Is it really that bad? Damn, that sucks.

Well, if I do move the cat, will it still work well enough to pass emmissions?

I'm going to have to move the cat to make room for the turbo anyway.
