the guys at zex tell me that the kit will not work with a returnless fuel system but it will work on the older contours and svt's.... is there any way to change from a returnless to a return system? how much work? how much money etc? i'm too poor to buy a turbo or s/c

just get nitrous works....it is just as good as even better for the same price...it works on returnless fuel systems

It would be a lot easier (and probably cheaper) to go with the Venom kit than changing your fuel system to return style. The Venom works on returnless fuel systems by manipulating the pulse width to get the extra fuel needed for the nitrous, not to mention it has more failsafes to keep you from blowing your engine.

where would one inquire about this venom kit more...how much does that whole system shipped cost?

over a grand, like i said i'm not made out of money, whats this nitrous works system? a web link perhaps? edit: found nitrous works at http://www.gpt300.com/nitrousworks/frames/ but it seems like all they have systems for are older 'muscle cars' like stangs and camaros.... which system there would work as a fogger system (the one that blows happy gas thruogh the tb)

What are you going to do if the nitrous doesn't work as it should and destroys your engine? It will really suck if you don't have a car for a long time because you don't have any money to fix your car. :p

thats what insurance is for And i checked into it, my insurance will cover problems from modifications to the car. not saying that i want to blow up my engine so i can get a new one, because that will drive up my rates, but i'll take the chance of having to hitch a ride to work and sit on my ass at night for one week in exchange for the power  I can afford to spend around 1000$ the venom kit is 1400 for the v2k.. dont get me wrong i love the idea of being able to stick my laptop in the car and tweak my **** by just pulling over and plugging something in. but if i can get a zex or NW or NX kit for around 400, and have a chip custom burned to retard my timing, and keep everything else in line i cant vary well justify the 600$ of kit + chip over 1400 just so i can tinker with it on my computer because i'm a nerd, i am, but i'm not rich, yet

www.nitrouswarehouse.com..........500 bucks...same kit as the ford focus...if u want to know if it works go to www.focaljet.com and they will tell u it is one of the best kits on the market for the zetec engine for the price.
