I'm thinking about adding a supercharger to the 98 SVT that I have. I have heard that you have to change somethings to componsate for the boost that they run, is this so? Also what would be the best supercharger to buy? Thank You......

There is only one supercharger available for a bolt on Contour which is a Vortec as far as I know. I think that if you check the forced induction forum you may find more info on what you need. If not then try the archives.

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

The kit you can get mainly requires you to maybe change the headers relocate the battery maybe some new plugs....in one of the other forum sections i believe some one gives a total of what you need to do. cool

download the instructions here

I think that will cover what needs to be done during the install.
