I may have acess to a YBT 2.016V motor, it has minimal miles on it. My question is I know it bolts right up to the MTX-75, would this motor be a fit for the contour?

I understand there may be some fitment issues but would they be major? would the stock Cosworth PCM and injection be required or is the zetec regular 4 banger systems work?

I know I can get a turbo kit from you for about 4k and a crate zetec for another 3k, Total 8k plus install. This motor is a bit less, I guess I would need some custom exhaust work as well.

I know anything can be done but some things should not be.

Can I have the SVT motor then?

The 'cossie YBT,if its from a Sierra Cosworth should have a tubo on it(the stoc' Ford Cosworth Sierras had them)sounds like most of the intake/exhaust etc is missing,how much is on this motor or is it just a bare longblock?
PS ,are you sure its a ybT? designation,stupid question...red or green cam cover?(yes its important)

I was told its from a 95 Cosworth Escort, Blue cam cover. :rolleyes:

I dont know that much about it. The car it was in is a parts car now. Rollover, so I guees I can get most of the stuff, but they have been reluctent to give a lot of details. Without me putting up some cash.
