21 PSI, isnt that alittle Extreme?? Your MPG will drop significantly and with that much boost you'd have a hell of a turbo lag.

Turbo lag has absolutely nothing to do with the level of boost being made. It has to do with the sizing of the turbo. Modern turbos spool so fast that turbo lag is a thing of the past.

OMFG....fuel economy is all a sudden a concern with a 350plus HP 2.0L? Gimme a fuggin break...P.S. turbolag is a thing of the past man.....variable vane Turbos all but eliminate the lag......duh....MPG wtf is that?

Terry, why did she "let go". Rods? IIRC Zetec has an iron crank, did you upgrade that as well? This is the kind of performance R&D I would love to see for the Duratec - find out what really needs to be upgraded and at what point. Nice work, your the MAN!

DAn, after re-reading Terry's post I would bet the rods let loose....he says he had to add rods to that kit so that is why I say it....but damn those are some sweet numbers.......

Rods(caps) let go,crank is steel stock,boost max is dependant on initial cr and I dont give a damm about fuel economy ok!!!! wink

Terry, is it even possible to turn the boost down when needed on this thing? I ask because the thought of my wife tooling around in my 'tour w/ 300+ HP at the wheels terrifies me just a little wink

And she'd wanna drive it after that, trust me!
