Does anyone have any info on the specs for each of these...like valve sizes and cubstion chamber size and what ever else is involved. I have a shop that is gonna do the swap for me and we are trying to figure out which heads to go with. No matter what we are gonna do head work but we are trying to see where is the best place to start.

I have this stuff at work, if no one posts it before then, I'll get it for you monday.

My $.02 If you are going to use the 3L short block, use the 3L heads. If you need more compression, have the heads milled a little (though I say that not knowing how much milling the heads can take) to bump the CR. The 3L ones do have larger vlaves.

Next question in this line would be: What aftermarket cams are available for the 3.0? Anyone? I'm looking for a 3.0 now and I was going to use the SVT heads because of cam timing, but I could make more power w/ bigger valves and a better bumpstick. Then I'll be happy.

AFAIK all duratech cams are interchangeable (excepting various waterpump drive changes between models)
also, AFAIK there are no "off-the-shelf" cams for the Duratec other than production ones. But I am sure you can get a reputable shop to get you some "regrinds" to your specs, but you would have to figure them out.

Rara, I was looking through old posts and was reading that their were some SVE cams that helped out min perfomance. Is their anyway that we could get the specs on those and find a company to make them?

Lee, I'm sure that the cams could be made (though prolly lots of $$) if someone could get the right specs. David Z had some, but is probably unwilling to tear his car apart to measure them, and as of yet, I have been unable to find the actual specs of those cams. Further confounding matters, is that SVE had made a dozen or so different cam sets for testing, so finding which are the correct ones, even if I could get the specs, would be a crapshoot.
