Maybe we should start a fund to get infuryum professional help, or a hooker. Way to much time on his hands.

Alright, that was a bit of a run-on, and I deserved that :p "Awhile back, I saw an interesting photo-chopped dyno. The baseline read "stock Civic", and peak was somewhere around 130hp. The second run read "stock Civic with yellow VTEC sticker added. Peak power was some 100hp higher than stock. It was quite hilarious. I wish someone had a copy of it." Be-yotch

That would be interesting to see. And true, you know...
Oddly, my dyno plot looks a lot like that up there.

Wait til next week. I'm putting my car on the dyno and running a compression test to see why I'm having this unexplainable power loss. I'll post those dynos and the ones when I fix it. Then, shortly after that, the ones with the nitrous. And then the block... And then the turbo...

Could be.
We're thinking it might be a blown head gasket. I've been dealing with this for over a month and I'm out of options.

If it were a blown head gasket, I think your car would be smoking pretty bad. Also would have cooling problems. The car would likely be running rough/skipping too due to the lost compression. Check your oil to see if it has gone down...also check your coolant level. Next, do a compression test.
OH you're right whitemike, this is a FORD site. But you see, Infuryum has officially been adopted as our very own red headded step child, so chill out. He's down with contours. (matter of fact I think I remember a certain video out there where he's significantly down on a contour...what was that, 2, 3, 4 carlengths heh heh). He's part of the family so to speak.

Please don't come to this group and start harassing people. Not a great first impression. For you information, Infuryum is a neat guy to hang around. He's kind of like comic relief at the DFW meets. BTW, He is a professed Contour Enthusiast, and he's alright by me. I don't care what he drives.

Correction, this is a Ford Contour "Enthusiasts" website, and Infuryum qualifies as one. That said, this forum is "Dyno", not "Contour Dyno", so it is open to all dyno runs.

Not necessarily logical Steve...there isn't a "Contour" Performance forum or "Contour" Suspension forum. I think its implied that all forums are for the Contour (even the Dyno one) and that Infuryum's dyno plot is just a joke (and a hell of a funny one at that! :D) But I know where you're coming from Steve. To Whitemike (just adding my $0.02 like everyone else)....get some background information on the members of this site before you go flaming your ass off. Infuryum is not the stereotypical Rice boy who flaunts his car over every enthusiasts web site. He is a Contour Enthusiast, just like many other members at CEG who dont own Contours. Yes, the majority own Contours/Mystiques....but some also own Focuses, Cougars, etc (even imports)...and theyre welcomed because they play nice and have good input/comments for our cars. So, take the flame suit off, join the enthusiasm, and worry less about intruders (hell...thats for the Moderators :)) And hey, welcome to the club!!

lmao! I love it! there may be way too much torque on there though whitemike, as a moderator, I'm gonna ask you to let me worry about trolls, so you can enjoy your time here at the CEG! infuryum has proven himself to not be a troll, time and time again (though he gets hassled incessantly about it :D)

How many domestic websites can you go to where the ricer is defended by the moderators and long-lived members? This place is awesome. I actually do put out 110ft/lbs to the wheels and most of it is centered above 100ft/lbs. I'm not a troll. I'm the official CEG b'itch. Get it right, Mikey.

hey! what dynojet do you goto? that output looks strangly similar to a graph i have... the operator was kind of wierd tho... he had big red shoes and this goofy multicolored wig... the car before me was a 68 vw beetle with about 17 of his friends jammed in the rear seat... still can't figure out how they fit all of them in there... never the less, i haven't been back to him since...
