With a few mods that would be at the wheels...stock at the crank is rated 130 roughly. Damn drivetrain loss. I'll probably have to have my car dyno tuned after my turbo.

With the 20% loss that the powertrain usually takes. That takes it to 104 hp at the wheels.

Perhaps we can hope the 'tour tranny is more efficient than most.

Right you are Brad. The 20% is average.

I'd like to know about the exhaust too. I'm wondering what the extreme decrease in back pressure did for the actual performance numbers.

It seems to add quite a bit. But that may just be me.

I wonder how you figure the actual % for your specific car? You'd almost have to know the hp at the wheels and at the crank...as seperate measures.

Using the 110 figure above it would be about 15% roughly.

Guys, look at the CTA dynos by Chris Wong linked on this forum. ZX2 and ZX3 Zetec dynos. Stock about 103 FWHP, with KKM 106 FWHP, with CTA intake + ignition 109 FWHP or so I think. Torque 112 - 118 or so, pretty decent.
1999 Amazon Green SVT Contour (#554/2760) Stock SVT Duratec V6 with: Intake- K&N filter/75mm MAF meter Exhaust- MSDS Y-pipe/Bassani catback Durability-Ford "dual mode" damper, Mobil 1/K&N oil filter 179.2 FWHP at 6900 RPM
