Anastazi, these will still use the stock brackets? I was under the impression that we would be able to use the thicker ones that were supplied with the Aussie bar.

The backing plates are for use with the suplied HD brackets you got from Prothane. The stockers are destined for the rubbish bin! laugh

Installing the backing plates or the bar? I am going to have the plates installed by someone with a lift, and who isn't nervous about welding with a gas tank right next to them. eek Installing the bar is no big deal, just slightly time consuming.
