If I get 17" wheels for my 99 SVT, then I get Eibach lowering springs, am I gonna have a problem with the tires rubbing inside the fender wells when I turn?

My BBS RX 17" with 225/45's will rub the outer sidewalls on the rears. I've got Eibach springs as well. Usually under hard cornering or with anything in the trunk only! Don't know if 215's or smaller will rub though.

Just my $.02! laugh

It just depends on the Offset of the wheels. If you get the right offset you should be fine. I believe the one you want with 225's would be 40-43mm. But I'm not exactly sure.

Hope that helps!

Rice_Smokin_SVT: I think you're asking about rubbing at the front with the steering wheel turned to full lock right?? Not a problem on our cars, plenty of space there. My 225/40R18's don't rub at full lock.

The back will rub on the outside at the point where the metal fender meets the rear bumper. I took care of that with a gentle hammer "tap" on that spot and all is good now, even with people in the back of the car.
