I made my own heat sheild for about $10 total on the weekend. It is painted and has foam edging too for a better seal with the hood. $65 is WAY to much. I just have to take pics of it. I alos routed 3" Aluminum ducting from under the bumper up and into the stock cold air position. $65 is WAY to much. Pics to come.

ya i agree that $65 is too much. the parts dont cost that much and i dont imagine labor taking that long to fabricate this.. so unless it comes down in price, i can live without it.

Then make your own....

I can probably guarantee that your $10.00 shield isn't made from the same materials I make mine out of. I think it's great that you made your own, that's the point of doing mods.

I make them for those that don't want to or have the time to do it.

The parts I use are the same materials used in engine bays.

FWIW.

Just a quick question....with the optional flex hose that BAT offers, can you still do the TH fix?

Just did mine, love the results, and was thinking of getting the BAT piece.

Thanks
