Will be trading the Contour the first of next week. I'm sad to see it go but the problems with it have begun to mount and the wife never was happy with "her car". The tranny has become really hard to shift and fearing a major repair we took advantage of the 0% financing Ford has going on right now and traded on a Mustang GT.

I'll certainly miss autocrossing the Tour. Really wish a national type hotshoe would do a complete STS treatment on one of our cars cause I still think it'd be very competitive. The Tour was able to take me to a regional title this year and our Tri-Region title as well.

Oh well, it's off to SN95.com and RX7club.com. smile That reminds me, I never posted the link to the pictures of my ITS RX7 here. You can check it out at www.photopoint.com Enter my email address (rrxp689@peoplepc.com) and look under the "racing" gallery. Enjoy.

I agree the new GT is a nice car to autox. We have a couple new GT's that run with Philly region, the one guy is real smooth and makes the Mustang look like an autoxer rather then a 1/4 miler.
Good luck with the new ride, all this 0% financing stuff has me thinking about buying a tow vehicle and making the SVT the track car if it holds out for 6 more months it could happen.

Well at least the Ford worker bought a Ford this time! Good luck with the Mazda and the rest of your fleet, and hope the horse problems go away in Kentucky. The Mustang GT won't be competitive with the F cars at Divisional level but should do fine locally. The tires would bite you in the butt though so I would stick with the Mazda as long as it stays running. See ya Chris. wink
