I'd like to "stretch my cars legs out" but I don't where I can go here in MI, I sent an e-mail to Waterford Hills, but got no response. I'm not looking to set a new track record but it would be fun to let it all hang out in the corners!!! Lets do it!!!

I just competed in my first autoX this past weekend so I'm far from an expert. I can tell you it was a blast! The SCCA sanctions a ton of autoX events and road races. Check them out at www.scca.org. Follow the division and region locator and you should get a club that is fairly local. AutoX is so common that there has to be one near you on a regular occasion. Give your local SCCA chapter a call and they will set you up. Have fun!

August 19 ? 20, 2000, Waterford Hills, Race, $5

September 9 ? 10, 2000, Waterford Hills, Race, $5

September 30 ? October 1, 2000, Waterford Hills Race, $5

There will be an event at the end of july in kalamazoo. There will be some of us there from the SVT/SHO Society of W. Mich. Should be a lot of fun. Others said the last one was a blast even though there was rain. I think it is either the 28th or 29th. They are held in the parking lots of The WMU campus. I will double check on the exact time and date and post a follow up.

The event on July 29 is the monthly meeting of the 'SVT/SHO Society of West Michigan". There is autocrossing scheduled for August 19 at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. This event is being coordinated by the local university motorsports club. Several SVT/SHO club members attended the first leg of the event a couple of weeks ago, and hopefully we'll be there on 8/19 (myself included!!!).

Hey, I'd really like to goto the Meet in Kalamazoo.. Who is coordinating all this and can i get in contact with others that are going to be there? I live south of detroit and would like to attend. I'd like all the info i can have!! Thanks Much!
