Anyone planning on going to the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals (in Carlisle , PA) on May 31st to June 2nd ?? If we get a number of Pre-Registered cars (I believe the magic number is 25) we will have our own class , tent & possibly other stuff .

The online registration is not open yet , but will soon be . By pre-registering you get 2 people (in your car) into the event for ALL 3 DAYS plus a goodie bag . The pre-registered price is usually less than a single (pay-at-the-gate) price . The price is $30 pre-registered for all 3 days vs. $40 for a single day pass at the gate !! So when the pre-registration opens , we need everyone to sign up ! This will be nice not to be banished out in the sticks with the TEMPOS & ESCORTS !

When the online pre-registration opens , I will post it for you . But until then keep this in mind & discuss your plans for the event . This could be a nice east coast meeting of CEGers if we play it right !

Here is the low-down on the show ... finally ! I just got an e-mail from the person in charge today .

On line registration - opens FEB 8th

price - before may 11th = $30 , after May 11th = $40
please register early so they have plenty of time to get us situated

if we pre-register 25 vehicles , they will supply the tent . They like to have about 15 to 20 cars to establish a new class .The tent will be set up and ready for use starting Friday morning & they tear down the tent on sunday .

There was some other stuff in the e-mail about contact stuff (which I'll take care of) , but there's the main info we've been waiting for !
Now we need everyone to pre-register right away & I can get it all straightened out way ahead of time . After you pre-register , let me know (drop me a personal message) , so I can keep an acurate tally !!

Don't know if my car will be ready by then ... might be down to ride with someone or take the Honda up ...

Although I will be on display for my sponsors, I would like to invite the Capital CEG members on our small Caravan up to Carlisle. I, as many of you seem to have done, went last year with my old Color Changing Cougar and had a BLAST. From what I remember, the Contours had a class last year. Antonio should be able to shine some light on that. The Cougars had their own class and we only had 13 registered.

Since online registration isn't open yet , I thought I'd give you guys the number to call .

Once again , be sure to mention the Contour Enthusiasts Group ... we ARE in the computer now . I am registered for the event already ... why aren't you ?!?! LOL .

Call Carlisle Productions at 1-717-243-7855 and take option #2 to register for Carlisle All-Ford Nationals . Take advantage of the seriously low entry and get registered . Don't forget to PM me after you do ... I'm keeping count (and the count is darn low right now ) .

Get those pre-registrations in !!!

I just got a form in the mail today about the tent & stuff . We need 25 cars pre-registered by the end of April in order to get the free tent & our own class . If we do not get the 25 cars it will cost $145 to get the tent . I must have the form mailed in by May 1st to get theis squared away . If we have the 25 cars by then , there's NO CHARGE .

We have 3 weeks to get this set up . I know we can do it !! I don't wanna shell out $145 out of my pocket when we've got more than enough people here to do it . So c'mon guys ... CALL THAT NUMBER & GET PRE-REGISTERED !!

I will hopefully scan these forms & stuff very soon so anyone can look at 'em to see for themselves (maybe tomorrow night) , but I don't have time to do it right now .
