well the original water pump gasket let go, so I had the following work done last week:
-water pump gasket replaced
-timing belt changed (was going to do anyway)
-timing belt tensioners replaced
-timing belt tensioner spring replaced
-serpentine belt replaced (was going to do anyway)
-water pump replaced
-new cam cover gasket
-labor
-etc, etc...
...all to the tune of $1100...
While I was lucky enough to have the money (no more car payments is nice), I am just glad I noticed the leak, and that I took it straight to Goodyear, instead of keep driving until the head warped, or whatever....
oh, btw, i am now at 78K...(and loving the SVT suspension and CTA intake)
