the car bottoms out already on the terrible roads here in pa... if it was lowered i dont think i'd be able to get in my driveway at home. plus, i cant even think of lowering it while its my year round daily driver... winters suck.

believe me, i want to lower it, but its really not an option right now.

thanks for the comments everyone... i wish my camera had more settings so that i could've made them come out better but i did my best with what i had

Guitarman, did you take those pics in Pgh or Indiana? I have only seen one beat up black SVT and 1 other silver SVT here in the burgh (south hills).

I agree with the lighting, if you went to one of the garages that uses the bright white lights vs the ugly yellow ones it would make your color look so much better.

As far as lowering, mine is lowered on Eibach's and I have not had much of a prob in the winter. As long as your area gets plowed fairly well you should be ok. Last winter I was living in MD and we had a 15in snow storm (not sure what PA got in comparison), but I was fine, and the snow plowing in the area was just average at best. But then again your driveway is another problem completely. In fact when they repaved the neighborhood here they didn't bring the asphalt up to the original line so there was a big drop off from where my driveway ended, the driveway skirt, and the edge of the road started. I called the borough and
complained and had them put a nice asphalt apron on the edge of the driveway.

Both mine have or will be driven in winter and are lowered. Some good tires and you can get through anything. Why do people make that excuse here all the time?

Hmm... high pressure sodium bulbs. Not the best for color rendering ability, but it's the best bang for your buck.

Of course, most efficient are low pressure sodium bulbs, but they put out monochromatic yellow-orange light. Everything either looks yellow or shades of gray.

Best color rendering are from metal hailide lamps. Most expensive of the 3 and don't last as long, but put out a nearly white light!

I'm a lighting nerd... Guess I should check my messages on the Lighting Gallery
