meh. The painted ones look better and if my car came with them i probably would have left them alone...however the non painted "rubber" ones that came on my SVT were nasty and had to go.
I do think the lines of the car flow better with them taken off though.

Got a pic!?!? I don't recall seeing non painted rubber ding guards on an SVT?

The newer ones don't come with paint...
you have to paint them, perhaps somebody didn't paint his.

IIRC, all Contiques come with painted ding strips. The car musta been in a shop and didn't get the strips sprayed.
