It's been over two months since my SVTC was totalled, and I just now got a new(-to-me) car . I picked up a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX from a guy in Philadelphia. Here are some pictures of it from the ad:

And the mod list:

Engine:

IHI VF22 turbo ported
JDM STi 565cc injectors
255lph Walbro fuel pump
Perrin intake
Samco Turbo Inlet Pipe
Helix uppipe, downpipe (catless)
Greddy Evo catback
Greddy FMIC
HKS SSQ BOV
GFB lighter Pulley
Denso Iridium spark plugs
Ecutek Engine Management
17psi boost 300whp 285wtq

Exterior:

Rays Gramlights 57pro's 18x8 +40 offset
Falken ST115 225/40/18
STI V1 front lip (replica)
OEM rear bumper lip(replica)
EDM STi projector lights
with 6000k HIDs
OEM carbon fiber hood with Sparco pins
JDM V5 STi rear spoiler
JDM STi fog light covers(Carbon Fiber look)
SUBARU windshield banner

Interior:

Corbeau CR1 front seats (adjustable and retractable)
STi titanium shift knob
STi shifter trim
Ommori Boost and EGT gauges
Subaru seat belt pads

Drivetrain:

JDM V4 STi 5sp tranny
LSD rear diff with 4.44 final drive
STi short shifter
GroupN tranny mount
Exedy sport clutch
Exedy 12lbs flywheel
Redline gear oil

Brakes:

DBA 4000 slotted rotors
Hawk HPS pads
Goodridge SS brake line
ATE Superblue fluids
Red painted calipers

Suspension:

KYB AGX adjustable shocks
Progressive springs
Whiteline rear swaybar and endlinks
Perrin front swaybar

Entertainment:

Alpine 10" subwoofer with built-in amp
Upgraded OEM speakers

I will take some pictures of my own very soon. The car is a blast to drive. I instantly fell in love with the EDM HIDs (with PROJECTORS ) the second the sun went down. The difference between these and my SVTC headlights are incredible. The ride is firm but not harsh, and handles very well. There is some lag from the bigger turbo, but it isn't bad and hauls balls when it spools. The racing seats fit me perfectly and are comfy. I drove it 5 hours home with little back pain. The hood has faded spots from heat damage, so I'm either going to get it resurfaced with clearcoat or get it painted body color. Either way I'm taking off the "Ray's" sticker on the front. I probably won't mod the car much more other than a few minor odds and ends, and maybe a big brake kit. Needless to say, I'm beyond pumped right now!

Yeah.. because we're all fooled by an 02 having an STI spoiler of a version that wasn't sold here on a year of car that wasn't available as an STI.

and it is STI now just for future reference.

That makes no sense. Just so you know. Putting the big wing on makes it somewhat wannabe.

it is a functional wing you know. you should see the numbers on the downforce it creates. it is held on by a few more than 2 screws.
