My girlfriend has that same thyroid problem. She's only 19 and has had it for a few years now. For some reason she can't drink a lot of caffeine (i.e. one Red Bull) without getting sick because of it, so be careful about that. It's good to see you can joke about it now, though. I wish you good health!
