Well, after having the CEL light on for almost 2 weeks, it bothered me enough to go pick up an OBD2 reader. And promply return it right after reading these codes:

Code 1 - P0153 Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit Slow Response - Bank No. 2.

Code 2 - P1151 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 2.

Now, before I head off to do my research as to where the Bank 2 is located and how much it is for a O2 sensor to buy, I thought I would post and get some comments?

I've been running rich for the last 2 months as well. I really think I need to clean the UIM/LIM, but not sure how well that will increase my MPG (ahaah...i made a joke, MPG..ha)

In short, please help.

Cheers, I love you all.

After just scanning the search function a bit, I've read that replacing Upstream is fairly easy.

Am I correct in assuming that these two codes are for just the one Upstream - Bank 2 O2 sensor? And by replacing the O2 on it, would correct the codes?

Also would buying the O2 fix the body damage to my car? Oh, maybe not?

Thanks
