I have the symtoms of a fuel pump going bad on my 1998 Contour V6 2.5, and I will be replacing it.
I want to go with the best fuel pump (within reason) that I can get, and I will probably purchase the pump sold at the Ford dealer, unless there is a better one out there.
Does anybody have any idea if there is a better aftermarket fuel pump out there for my car than what is sold at the Ford dealer?

The guy at the parts department told me my replacement pump was Fords 4th revision of it. Hopefully they've gotten it right by now!
