I took my car for new struts today. The 98 SE has 70K miles on it and the ride was rough so i figured it was due.
The shop informed me that my front passenger axle was broken. They actually fixed it at part cost since they failed to include that in their estimate.
Anyway the weird vibration that occurred on that side of the car over certain patches of road is gone and it rides smoother so i'm not complaining, just trying to add to the base of experiences here.
