Good times. We had a lot of fun. Congratulations Mike and Jess! my pictures A LOT of my pictures came out awful. I'm really disappointed. It was mostly because I shut the flash off in a lot of the pictures so I wouldn't interfere with the professional photographer's photos.  I got a lot of blurry photos, so don't make fun. I know the other CEG'ers got a ton more pics, so you can rely on them for the good ones.

I left out the worst of the pics. Man they were bad. no flash = blurry pics.

the day was great...only a few minor incidents..like the bridesmaid passed out in the lobby!

the pictures were great, even if they were a little blurry.
Kris, the photographer took about 15 rolls of film and also used her digi cam.
she was estimating about 500 pics taken!

You guys missed it. At the end of the night, when the wedding coordinator was leaving, she stopped back in and said "btw Mike, you may want these table numbers. Looks like your friends had some fun. We can't use them anymore, obviously, so here you go"

Maybe they'll learn to laminate their table numbers from now on. The minute I saw they weren't laminated, I knew I had to create some mischief.

I just remembered a comment Jess made at the wedding: "I'm surprised he hasn't pulled his nuts out yet" Frankly, I'm also surprised. I doubt anyone would have been surprised if they came out, either. Has married life already made Elky a changed man?  Well, aside from him trying to put the garter on the bridesmaids and other such groping that went on after he said his vows.

Welcome to married life Mike. Kristen had a great time at the wedding. From what she told me, it sounded very nice and a great reflection of the two of you. Sorry I was an idiot and didn't realize I double booked until it was too late.  I figured it was better that Kristen go since she wouldn't fit in too well with a deep sea fishing bachelor party.

One thing that kinda made me upset, and I hope I'm not out of line for saying this so soon after the wedding, but when Jess was walking down the aisle, the JP was yapping at Elky. So Elky had his attention turned to the JP for nearly her entire walk down the aisle.
One of the biggest things I wanted to see was his reaction to her.
Call me a big sap, but that's just one of the key things I like to see in a wedding. It gives me the warm fuzzies.
Knowing them and how they toss tradition out the door though, he probably already saw her in her gown before the ceremony anyway.
I'm pretty sure he said they slept together the night before. silly kids.
That's what we love about them though.

There was an Indian wedding right next door to Mike and Jess'. They had huge platters of food right out in the open, and the whole place smelled like curry. They were all dressed to the gills too. Jaybob and I were going to go in and request "Who let the dogs out", but we decided to request "Me so Horny" at Mike and Jess' instead, but the DJ didn't have it.
I hope we're gonna be invited to Haroony's wedding!!

Try one crazy Indian Irish Dutch festival ... my cousin got married and his parents decided to fly his dad's entire family out from India (and his wife's family from the midwest) .. had all sorts of folk skits and traditional dancing from each culture going on .. it was nuts ..

Welcome Back! Hope you had a great honeymoon! I can't wait to see the honeymoon pics, there should be some interesting ones knowing you two!
On our trip to Jamaica this year, Karen and I took almost 800 pics and 1 1/2 hrs of video. You have to keep the memories somehow, right!

here are two more pics Kris sent us before we left.   i talked to her on tuesday and she is almost done going thru the pics. the final count on pics was over 1100 pictures taken that day!!!

yeah...i couldnt believe it when she told me the final count!
and she will have them all processed, the good ones printed, and she will have them onlline for ordering by the end of the week!
she is doing stuff like in the black and white one, she will be leaving the red in the flowers, jess' dress, and my shirt.

Wow! Glad to hear you've enjoyed the honeymoon. That is an incredible amount of pics but you'll be glad to have each and every one in the future.
I forgot to say how good Jess' dress looked. The red ribbon around the back and bottom was a touch I've never seen in a wedding dress, looked wonderful.
