OP Taz Newbie T Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 5	Yesterday I bought a Contour, today some light is on. I don't have a manual so I don't know what the light is. It's blinking red and is located above the clock area near the 'Contour' logo .... what izzat?! CEL? Airbag? ABS?

Manuals are available for 96-on. Based on your description, it should be the PATS light. Identify your vehicle, by year, engine, and transmission. Welcome aboard! OP Taz Newbie T Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 5	Got the manual, thanks! And you are right, it is a flashing passive anti-theft system light. 2000 Contour 2.5 liter Automatic 71,000 actual miles Anything else I oughter know? Like where is the CEL?
