I did know about the shop change, but does anyone know WHY they changed? My guess is they focused on the most entertaining crew member, and when he jumped shops, so did the show. Just a guess mind you.
The one thing I DO like about PMR is that they do a lot of custom fabricating, even if it is ridiculous some times. Some of the paint jobs have been pretty tight too. That said, whenever they get an import to pimp, damn...more rice than in all of China!
Should be interesting to see what they do to the Contour. I do remember an old Escort they grafted a BMW front end on. It turned out REALLY nice.

No kidding, that is something I have always wondered. A long time ago they had a kid that was driving an escort that's front was an 87' and the rear was an 85' and unsafely welded in the middle and ended up giving him a new pimped out Xb.
There is no doubt that the Xb didn't last long if the kid is driving a POS, he's probably living in the hood where a vehicle with 20K of electronics won't last long, no matter what security system you have.
BTW- that escort was the best thing they have done to date!

it is really bad on the show Tick my Truck, where they pimp out over the road trucks.
the prelude to a ashow will have the truck owners wife talking bout how the truck puts food in the 6 kids mouths, but it is always breaking down and taking money away from the family...so they dump $80K into paint and body mods, put a fireplace in the sleeper, but never fix the mechanicals!

PMR seems to be pretty good about getting the car running right. Not to the extent they do on OverHaulin' but still.
What I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see is a "where are they now?" episode. Go back and see how trashed/violated these cars have become since they were pimp'd. That would be THE BEST!!!

i liked it when they did that with overhaulin..they brought back about 4 cars and did a full review of the work that was done to them.

Overhaulin is a much better show in general.
GRM Magazine should do a show.
