When in high gear and running around 2500-3000 RPM, if I back off the throttle and reapply the throttle, I get a moment of hesitation.
It is somewhat frustrating.
I have replaced the spark plugs and ran Berrymans in the tank and through the Intake manifold.

Any other ideas?

Possibly the Coil Pack?

Gary

What spark plugs were installed? If they were Motorcrafts or Autolites, then I'd also go for wires.

I used the Autolite XP-104 but recently installed Autolite APP764.

It seems to have started when I smeared some conductging goop on the boots of the wires.

I have testged the Coil Primary som far but need to test the secondary's also.

I had a problem with my old coil and bought a used one on ebay.

I would feel better with a new one.

The new wires only have maybe 4,000 miles on them.

What brand wires. Again, these engines are picky.

Hopefully you used dielectric grease, not "conducting goop". Dielectric grese is an insulator and is used to fill open voids so water and air can't find room to get in to cause corrosion.

Conducting goop would kill the spark and cause misfires.
