I got a quote today for my 99 SE to replace a front wheel bearing-$295.99, 2 tie rods-$220.98, and a ball joint for $196.99. Based on costs for these parts isn't this high for this work to be done?

Thanks in advance! This is a great site!

Holy crap! Tie rods are like $20 a piece. Need to have the alignment checked after install. Ball joints are about $30 a piece, a bit harder to change if you don't have the tools but since the wheel bearing is out any ways. If it's the same side. New hubs are a bit much. If you can get a new bearing and have it pressed in for about $100 I think. Get your car out of there and call around for quotes.

todras,

I'd of thought I'd be fine with 300 for it, but yeah, after looking up prices of the individual parts seems like a rip off! Thanks!
