Sorry the dyno you are using is inaccurate.
To what do you base your statement that I'm a liar?? Were you at the Dyno? No you were not. Have you even seen my car in person? No you have not. Have you ever had your CSTV on a Dyno? If you have I can find no evidence of it.
Disprove my Dyno information if you can. In fact I say put your money were your mouth is. You come to Akron pay for the Dyno time and I will put my car on it and pull the same numbers as the last time. On top of that I will lay $1K on the bench at the Dyno, if the car does not meet or better the previous numbers you get the $1K, if it does what I claim it can do you pay me $1K and go home having learned the lesson : That if YOU can't run with the Big Dogs don't get off the Porch.
As for it not having a Tune it does, an SVT Tune.
The Cat is not stock for this car, it was made to flow for a V-8 5.7L to be exact.
The muffler is not a stock type muffler any more than a Flow Master is, if you want to see one go to
Supremeperformance.com and look under Vortex V-Baffle. By the way this muffler works very well with the exhaust physics of the 2.5.
I can tell that you have not been around real men that modify automobiles much, if you had you would know that you do not make claims that you can not back up. If you can not back up your mouth you lose money, maybe your car or maybe a few teeth. I on the other hand can back up everything I have said, I can back it up with the car, with the documented information and I can back it up with money.

If you will exspand the Dyno sheet it is quit Obvious that it has not been altered like some have implied. I have offered up a solution to this problen but you have totaly ignored it. If this had been done by one of the Contour gurus no one would have questioned it.
The whole idea of moding a car is to try new things and different ideas. Not following convention is the whole idea. I could do a 3L or spend 3+k on a turbo, but I chose to follow a different path, I like being a Rebel, what fun would it be if our cars all looked the same.

I can get you a free run on a mustang dyno to see if that dyno is right. Though I do reckon that's a long ride.
Something ain't quite right here..... or it is possible you just got a freak.
I'll gaurantee one thing... do the same mods on another regular 2.5 and the same outcome (on a definite correct dyno) will not occur.

Oh for the love of what ever you believe in, Its not just a Cat Back. Read the info please, enough is enough the complete exhaust was replaced, the Y-pipe is gone, the cat has been changed, the pipe size has been increased, the muffler has been changed plus the routing has been changed. Has anyone else on this board done a testing regiment like this? Modify then test, do the next mod then test? Not that I have seen. I have seen I did this and this and this and this and then I tested. How do you know exactly which mod did what. If someone else has done a mod by mod test series please tell me so I can look at it and compare results.

There was a few, but with svts. Search will help you find them.
I have never or heard of ever an exhaust doing over 7whp on any contour. And that was on a 3 Liter. Let alone a 14whp on a stock 2.5 liter.
It just doesn't make sense. Period. No contour has ever dynoed a 14whp on a stock 2.5 liter motor without a FI or nitrous.
Please show us some pics of your exhaust!! I would really like to see this y-pipe back single catback exhaust. I can not really see the pipe angles changing very much. Because of our only path of routing it.
Again can you see how others saw we only gain 5whp from a catback. that is saying on a svt.

It would be a useless thread as no one has ever put an SVT ECM in an SE before and moded on top of that base configuration before. At least not that I can find doing a search.
