Say what? You shifted midcorner and the rear stepped out? I'm not surprised. That's really not smart.

oh ok. they look to have larger diameter coils at the top and taper down so i thought it was a prog spring design. didnt think linear springs came in this design. thought they were all same diameter evenly spaced coils from top to bottom. good to know

you have a point there, and to be honest, I didnt do a heck of a lot of research before signing up for these, but I was under the impression that they were linear when we were working out specifications with the manufacturer.

How do they ride? Linear springs ride very different than progressive. Linear is also more predictable.

well I've put very few miles on the car since they've been put on [and sadly I have more or less baby'd it around]. some roads, I feel like a god damn bobblehead, others are silky smooth. I'm still getting a feel for how the car reacts to different type of bumps or ruts. The ride harshness is much much more bearable than I was expecting [I was pretty much planning that it wouldnt be streetable].

I went with 9f/7r as I don't race or autox but just wanted a firm suspension that would handle some spirited back roads driving without beating the passengers up too much.
