I recently purchased the intercooler for 125 dollars new. It can flow 800cfm to make my 450whp I plan on this month. It is tight but will work just fine. I have to alter the orignal outlet a little too. The inlet next to the thermostat housing will have a polished 2.5 aluminum 45 degree bend welded into the inside ID of the 3" pipe. I will grind down a gorve in the bar plate on the edge so the bend can be closer to the intercooler. I have all 90 degree npt nipples for water lines. I will come off the 45 degree 2.5" pipe cut it about 3 inces short of throttle body then use a 90 degree reducer silcone hose form 2.5 to 2.3/4 to throttle body.
Next I will use the scrap of the 2.5 to weld to the bottom of the other tank for the inlet from the turbo. I will have a 2" to 2.5" reduceer there with t-bolts. I will then weld on a 3/8 bong to the intercooler on the outlet tank for ICM.
Then I will weld a 3" plate on the original outlet to mount a blowoff valve located next to the maf. I will bolt it down to the motor to allow for it to move some with the motor. A little welding and this baby will look good and mean when you lift the hood.
