The only thing keeping me off the road with my new 3L is the drivers side axle. To be more specific the nut that holds the axle in the hub. Anyone know what the "technical name" is for this? It is actually like 5 washer thin nuts that are held together. I need to order another one since mine broke upon disassembly, or ifanyone has one lying around, I'd be happy to send ya a bunchof money to get it to me

It's a non reuse item ... call the dealer and get a new one ... cost all of $5

BTW, it's called an axle nut

If you get an aftermarket halfshaft, it comes with a reuseable nut.

So maybe you can con a local auto parts store into getting you a nut off a halfshaft

I think this is the part number:

F5RZ-3B477-A

My dealer charged me $9.18.

Bill Jenkins charges $6.83 plus shipping.
