Could the reason be that the battery is dead from where the car has been sitting for so long? Also, if anyone knows where I could get a fuel pump for a reasonable price, please let me know~

Thanks

Yes. You can't use the remote but you will still be able to use your key to open. Also check battery in the remote fob and check Fuse 25 for door locks.

In addition, are you parked in a garage with a remote garage transmitter? Maybe interference from that.

The car doesn't have a remote. The key wouldn't open it. The car has been through hell the past year! It broke down and needed a new fuel pump and the hubby screwed that all to heck. Then it got repo'ed and we had to get it back. After paying up the late payments and repo fees, we haven't had the money to get it fixed so it is sitting. I tried to open the doors and nothing!
