Well I got my grill on but guess what! When I "touched up" the spot on the oval not only did the clear coat come out like crap, but I have black overspray on the grill mesh. I kinda forgot to cover both sides of the mesh and I got overspray from the rear. <--Its as bad as it sounds.
But it still looks sweet! haha Maybe I will dust the whole grill black. Also I put in the lower Grill peice that I also put mesh in. At the time I neglected to account from that giant freakin hole in the normal contour bumper. but you don't see that until you sqat next to the car.

I think your best bet would be to take it apart again and give it a sanding, then repaint/clear it.

I guess you could "dust" the rest of the mesh black. Or, you could paint it silver.
don't dust it, just paint the mesh black. i just did it to mine and it looks nice. i will go and wash betsy and post a few pics in a couple hours. i gotta fix my tolit first. stupid beewax seal went bad and was leaking CRAZY

Why does your car look green in the picture Mike? Is that black rubber part to the top of the grille missing?
the place i took the pic was under a tree and there was alot of reflection from that and the grass. and yes the rubber from the grill is missing. i riped it off a while bak to try and get a lil bit more airflow in to the hood for the imrc box. i still have the rubber piece, and am going to be replaceing soon. you can only really see it up close that is it missing... do you all like my v6 emblem in the chrome or should i paint it black also?
