spinning in the CD player, i was beating down a country road. next thing i see is a deer leap out of a thicket near a guard rail that spans the north branch of the kish river. it pauses in my lane. nowhere to go for either of us. i apply the brakes and swerve into the oncoming lane. the mighty baer big brake kit went into action. they were liniar. they were confident. they gave positive feedback. they saved the deer, my car, and myself. what an episode.
