The parking lot used at Cecil is very big, good asphault. Better than most autox's. You know if Bowland is bringing the Shark, that it's a good place.
The Cecil events usually draw a good amount of entrants but not too many. They organize it very well, so it all moves very quick and smooth. You may get a couple less runs than other events but to me, it's worth it. Registration ends pretty early (9:30am), so that's the only bad thing is gotta get up fairly early (takes me hour to get there, and I have to change my shoes when I get there). The drive isn't too bad for you, ~2 hours.
If you can't make this one, you should try for the Allies vs. Axis event in December. It's fun. They count the allies wins and the axis wins and of course allies always win, but it's sorta cool being part of the competition. I helped the allies by trophying in sts w/ the scort beating a subura and a civic.
See the large 'pit' area of the drag strip in this pic? That's what is used for the autox course.
