My friend, Mike Hyla, from Syracuse NY, and roommate, and 3 year suite mate, died today in Pennsylvania in a motorcycle accident. It is so sad, he had just turned 21 and was about to enter his senior year at college along with the rest of us at SUNY Potsdam. He loved cars, and truly loved his bike. RIP buddy, you will be missed.

I call my E0 Claire. 24 hour what? I'm looking to buy a like-new condition SVT grill, and a shift knob that works with the reverse lever PM me with the details.

If anyone knows what happened, through a news story or something, please let me know. Everything is unclear at this point and everything is such a shock. So anyone that does know something, please PM me and keep it off the boards. I'm just still so shocked something like this happened, so fast.

Matt, I'm so sorry!

Is this the same guy that let you drive his new Jetta in the parking lot?

Thoughts and prayers to you and his family!

Yep, the car had like 500 miles on it and I had never driven standard in my life, and he let me drive around for like an hour stalling it and grinding gears. He was definately a good guy. Every night in our room we would here the rasp of a ricer go by, and we would both laugh and see how often it was a Civic with a big wing. It's just such a shock, people barely 21 and in college aren't supposed to just die suddenly like this...
